Momomo TL notes
Does Momomo have some sort of unique quirk in his speech? Knowing how you usually handle translations, the rhyming has to have some reason for being there.
Momomo ends all of his sentences with の~ (no~). Final sentence particles in Japanese serve a variety of functions depending on the sentence, but the の ending particle outside of questions, nominalization, or heavily assertive sentences typically gives a softer effect. The tilde also imbues a sense of playfulness. Since the vocal tic appears pretty aggressively, we figured it might be good to give him something, and rhyming seemed to fit the pattern.
For more information, this stack exchange thread gives a simple list of feminine/masculine connotations for the の final sentence particle.
